Note
The main art page is going to effectively just be a little bio for Mari, going through them as my persona and how that all works in my head.
Every other page will have a different version of Mari. I like to think of them as both cosplay and alternative lives. Same character design, but a completely different version.
And then finally there is the Gallery where all the art will be posted.

Mari
The White Rabbit
Male | Mid 20s | 1.60m (Excluding Ears)
A self-hating pessimistic rabbit.
Mari at his core is a indifferent introvert. He keeps to himself as much as possible,
preferring the peace of isolation over the difficulties and benefits that come with the company of others.

Personal Growth
Mari is the main persona I use for myself online. He has a very simple design, white fur, brown eyes and long dark brown hair.
When I originally created him, I was in a rather dark headspace. Which is why he is described as a rather negative and sad character, matching a lot of his early concept art.
Whereas today I view him as no different than myself. He could be drawn with friends or alone, smiling or sad, and it'd still feel true to the character. Just as I've grown as a person
so has this personification of myself.

Canon vs Non-Canon
When I get art of Mari, I tend to categorise each art piece on whether or not it is Canon or Non-Canon. Not every artwork is an accurate representation of Mari or even myself.
In this way I can have versions of Mari that are pure fiction, such as 'Pathfinder' from Hyper Light Drifter, or 'Unaccountable Silence' from Rain World.
Whereas pieces that I personally feel attached to are considered canon, such as a piece showing me surrounded by my hobbies, or sitting at a Tram Stop.
If I were to describe the canonical version of Mari it'd be the version that feels honest to me as a person. A lonely rabbit that is pretty but keeps people at a distance.
He's often seen alone, minding his own business. He expresses himself softly but will stonewall others who try to get too attached.
